If you’ve been good this year, you’ll have already received a Hive Christmas Tee and an invite to our Christmas knees up. It takes place at the Hive on Thursday week, the 10th of December. The same day that the Sam Beckett bridge officially opens (We are right beside it on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay) and the Christmas Market opens in the IFSC. We’ll ease ourselves into the party season with a little Christmas cheer. Bye bye 2009.

It’s the dream brief. Irish Distillers, fresh from their $8 billion (yes, that’s a ‘B’) acquisition of the Absolut brand, went shopping for an agency for Ireland. And they asked little-ole-us to have a crack at the pitch. It’s a funny one when you’re asked to work on an iconic brand. A mixture of elation and fear.

Unfortunately we didn’t win but look forward to seeing the work and congrats to whomever did win it – you lucky ducks! Thanks for the shot Brendan and don’t be a stranger.
